The Heart of Clear Seeing
When a practitioner looks deeply into the nature of experience, they see that what we call a person has no solid core.
The body is not fixed, feelings are not fixed, perceptions are not fixed. Mental reactions are not fixed. Consciousness is not fixed. None of these stand alone. None of these remain. None of these can be possessed.
Form is not something solid. It is shifting relationship. And relationship is exactly what we call form. The same is true for feeling, perception, reaction, and consciousness.
Everything that appears is without independent foundation. Nothing arrives fully formed. Nothing stays. Nothing can be held. In this clarity there is no separate eye, no separate ear, no separate nose, no separate tongue, no separate body, no separate mind.
No independent world of sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touches, or thoughts. No fixed realm of consciousness. No ignorance to remove. No old age and death to defeat. No chain of suffering to break. Because when examined closely, these are processes, not solid entities.
There is no suffering that stands alone. No cause that stands alone. No separate freedom to acquire. No special path to possess. There is nothing to gain, because there is nothing lacking.
Seeing this a practitioner stops clinging. Without clinging there is no fear. Without fear the mind is not confused. This is what peace feels like. All those who awaken do so through this clarity.
Therefore understand this: Deep wisdom is not a charm, not a spell, not a promise. It is the direct seeing that nothing you cling to has a fixed core. And because nothing has a fixed core, nothing can imprison you.
That is the heart of it.
